I know there are some other things about this but this is my story
It all started at the Sportsman Lodge on Thursday evening with the people there throwing a nice cook out for us. Thanks to Heather, Roy and the rest of their gang for all they did for us.
Next was Friday's fruit jar tourney weigh in 7 boats entered with the winner being I-FISH Buddy Coy. Sorry I don't remember Big Fish, but I'm sure someone will add it later.
Buddy's weight was about 8lbs 10oz.
The next step was to MRDUX Taxidermy shop for some fish cleaning. The KF&W were there to document the fish as to where they were caught, their weight and collect the olith from each fish. They also checked their stomach contents.
as you can see they have the method down pat and in no time all fish were cleaned and documented.
Friday night was Whiskers famous chili night. That man knows how to make some of the finest DEER chili in the country.
Saturday was the main event with a very fine presentation from the KF&W People. Adam Martin and his crew did a fine job expounding on the health of the fish and the Asian Carp problem. They are working very hard on a few things hoping that one or more of them will to stop them. 1 of the promising things is a sound barrier. that hopefully will drive the carp away from coming through the locks. If that works then the population in the lake will start to decrease. Fingers crossed.
of course the next thing to do was to get rid of all those skillet taters cobblers fish and all the other sides.
wish I had taken more pics of everyone eating and the rest of the food we had, but I was too busy putting away some of those taters, fish and other goodies.
I know everyone that was there for the different events had a very good time and it was good to be with old friends and meet some new ones.
Thanks to all those that donated prizes and to Slab, Ed Moes for having such a wonder fishing web site. Hoping to see a lot of you again next year !!
