Default Fall break & the bye week

Been awhile since I posted, been too busy with work to fish. Teacher & high school football coach, so pretty much every year July through November my fishing time is limited. Fall break from school and the bye week for football fell on this week, so off from both and got to go out and do some fishing. Been catching em 12-14 ft deep off structure. Can’t get em to bite a jig. Straight minnows on a #2 hook. Water temps 76-79 degrees and water very clear. That’s on both Nolin & Barren. Here’s a few pics of some of my trips this week. Also got a depth finder pic, notice I’m sitting in 24 ft of water with brush from 17 ft to the bottom. Fish suspended just above the brush. Water 16 ft to 24 ft seems best, and there’s lots of fish & wildlife brush piles in those depths. Good luck & good fishing.

You definitely made the best of it. Good reports and that plate at end looked good.
