    Default Could you legally...

...catch your limit from 2 lakes in the same day? For example. I drive past green river lake to get to Cumberland. Could I legally catch my limit at Cumberland and do the same on my way home at green?
Having a cooler of crappie on ice in the truck and a livewell full would leave some explaining to law enforcement I would guess.
Now, I'm not the caliber of fisherman to accomplish this. Just curious on others thoughts

Negative. Daily limit on statewide waters inclusive of all waters fished.

The possession limit is what I think is fuzzy. What if I'm camping for two weeks can I keep a limit of crappie each day in my freezer at the camper?

In most instances no if staying a long time. It depends on your state regs and if somebody reported you. It is a gray area

    As defined by KDFW

Daily limit is the maximum number of a particular species or group of species a person may legally keep in a day or have in possession while fishing.

Possession limit is the maximum number of unprocessed fish a person may hold after two days or more of fishing.

this is the key word. If you've PROCESSED the fish, cleaned and filleted, then they don't count for possession the way I read it.

Best to contact kdfwr on phone and ask. I went thru this with them over a logo on a blaze Orange hat, a warden in the field told a buddy of mine he could write him a ticket if he "wanted to" so i contacted kdfwr directly with a picture of the hat in question and had them send me an email with their reply in it. So i would call or email them.
