Nice catch and some good eating
I have been cranking for awhile on each trip with Jenko and Arkie crankbaits at 1.8 mph and then casting for whitebass the second half of our trips. Creates a mixed bag of fish and keeps everyone interested if fishing is a little slow....but fishing hasn't been slow!!! SteelShad bladebaits had been the goto for whitebass up until the last couple of days. They are still catching fish but when the whites put on the feed bag speed is key to catching them. I use the Ken's Hybrid Spinners in 3/8 ounce. My main color is a white inline spinner with a red tip and silver blade.I rip them up off the bottom by reeling about 10 times and then open the bail to let it sink....this mimics a dying shad as it twirls back to the bottom. Been working great even when TVA hasn't been pulling water! Here is a couple pics of recent trips.
And this big ol Buffalo!!

Good post and all I can say is "fresh fish BUFFET".
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
Good to see the little one in a PFD.
