Same for everybody. I have found that fishing some of my former "hot spots" is working even tho carp are there. If you watch for changes on your screen near a waypoint like a real dense area and game fish are there. I multispecies fish. Usually I'm chasing whitebass all summer. Still catching some in my old haunts just not as many. Bass fisherman told me the fish are UNDER those carp feeding and it has worked. I'm talking casting not cranking in these areas.

Last year I was catching crappie 12'-16' deep in 18'-26' FOW, thats where the carp are suspending this year in my formerly favorite spots. seems like last year the carp were closer to the surface, we were dragging the lines across their backs, occasionally snagging one. When the water starts to cool maybe the carp will shallow up.
