    Default Cave Run Lake 6/25

Went up last night, got there around 9:00 and set up for the night. Found a place in 25 fow and caught them around 15 to 18 feet deep. We caught over 100 fish with 36 keepers, my brother in law also had 36 keepers fishing right up above us. Ours was caught on green pumpkin sliders, red/chartreuse sliders and with Black/white Popeyes, some tipped with minnows. Together we had a gallon of filets with lots of 11 inch fish. Also caught a big carp on a 12 foot Jenko rod, I had a time getting him in lol. Just thought I'd share, thanks for looking and God Bless.Name: Capture%2B_2018-06-26-16-49-46.jpg

Good post and catch. Landing that carp was probably the meaning of “finessing a fish”.

It was a right smart tussle and a big challenge to get him in the boat, lol

Were you tied up to standing timber, or anchored offshore with weights ??

Nice catch, by the way !!

I anchored off last night I usually just spider rig all night but it was just too windy, so we just anchored, spread the rods out and caught a bunch, haha.

Awesome job! Nothing like those rough fish to keep things interesting, especially on the long rod!
