Thank you for the report. I intended to go today, but work continues to get in the way.
Paul & I hit T-ville about 830am & started off pretty good ... but most were "last year's" keeper size fish (>9") Though, that does bode well for next year.
We finished up around 130pm, after not getting many bites over the previous 2hrs. We caught 5 keepers (>10"), probably 15 "short" fish (<10") and at least 10 "really short" fish. And the odd thing was ... Crappie were all we caught. No Bass, Drum, cats, or any variety of Sunfish
Fish were caught on Road Runners: Paul used a white marabou Road Runner, and I used a white Road Runner head and a Purple Ice Hot Rod (Slabanator jig body). Fish were 8-10ft deep over 15-25fow and scattered. Some were caught casting, but most were caught slow trolling (one pole in hand).
Water color looked good and water temp was 78* when we got there & 82* when we left.
All fish released. Some of the White Crappie looked to be still full of eggs (or possibly Shad). None of the few Black Crappie caught had bulging bellies.

Seems like everybody is catching "dinks" everywhere now.

That could have been my report from last Sunday except I was spider rigging. Caught about 40 in three hours with 5 keepers.

Same here guys me and my brother fished last Sunday spider rigging chowning area. Went through 6-7 dozen minnows in 2 hrs alot of shorts. 6 keepers. My parents showed up when we were leaving and had luck single poleing the outer most stumps 8ft deep had 15 keepers in 2.5 hrs till the lake lice and heat ran them out. Figured we'd find some bigger females out deeper but not the case. Alot of whites were bloated as well. Still some fish on banks too.
