Just sold some southerns, there tough rods but bounced to much when windy and in alot of boat traffic.I would take that into considering what rod to buy and also what weights do you usually use.

I have cypress creek that I use for pulling jigs, they are great for that, I have never used them to spider rig but I know some folks do. I also have Jenko slab city and Jenko spider troll that I use for spider rigging and I also use the spider troll for pulling crank baits. I would say it depends on what weight you will be using, for a lighter weight I prefer the slab city and for heavier weights I like the spider troll.
