    Coming down tomorrow for a few days, wondering if there is any bedding activity.

    I wouldn't think the water temperature has been warm enough for any bedding to start yet.

    I don't think this is a typically year by any means. I would think the water temperature is way off the mark for these fish to be shallow, I could be wrong.

    Thanks for the replies, thought it was going good to be to early but this is when we can come so may just chase crappies and bass.

    The redear and bluegill are possibly just coming up shallow, but just a few. A fella I know caught four dandy redears the last two days. I went today for an hour and caught one nice redear and a bluegill. It's very slow, the cool spring has pushed it way back.

    Talked to a guy yesterday, he said they’ve been here (Blood River) 4 days and have caught 2 gill’s
