    Default Blood river 4-14

Staying on the blood river this week. Fishing was hit and miss today. Managed 10 keepers primarily 17-22ft deep. Maybe had 10 throwbacks.

We were staying at Paradise resort for the past week, only got 10 keepers all week. Getting down to blood was brutal that wind really kicked my butt.
If you cast it they will come.

With the weather like it's been you've probably caught as many as most. I'd love to see some stable conditions.
Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of great folks on here.

Only 3 keepers on Jonathan the past 3 days for us. Went across the main lake and found the bass. Caught probably 40 largemouth and a few smallies. Many were in th 2-3lb range.

fished blood river Friday and Saturday 13-14th. Had over 150 keepers in 2 days but most were males weighing bout 12 ozs. water temp got in the low 60s satutrday and fished moved up shallow less than 3 ft. I'm sure todays temp pushed them back out, but about Wednesday afternoon there forecasting 70s again. if your fishing then don't be afraid to go shallow

You must be the best fisherman in the world! Lol. Everyone I talked to this weekend was lucky to get 5-10 per boat.

Spider rigged for 3 hours 1 little fish just like everyone else. Changed up to Single pole in the stake beds. Fast as u could put a minnow in there, but they were all cookie cutters. Had a 1.6 and 1.7 but most average 12oz finally just quit weighing them. Ended up with 13.93lb ran outta time was hoping the females would move up.

Tried that on Jonathan with no luck. Been coming to KY Lake for 25 yrs and this may have been our last trip.
