    Prayer Request Headed Your Way... any advice on Paintsvike or Yatesville


    Good evening crappie brothers. I am headed your way at the end of the month to connect with a long time friend of mine to do a little fishing. We have not seen each other in years and finally decided we just need to get together and spend some quality time on the water.

    I'll be pulling my rig from Virginia and I'm looking forward to a couple days of good fellowship and a few fish would be nice too.

    I have not fished either lake and we will not have the best moon, so any help you guys may be able to offer to help me make the most of the time would be greatly appreciated. We plan to fish Painsville one day and Yatesville the next.

    Paintsville is a very deep. Yatesville is known more for their bass,though it does have crappie. They usually have a bass tournament or two every week-end. If you are not dead set on these two I would go to Cave Run. Also would take Dewey over Yatesville and Paintsvillle.
