    Good job !!

Yeah, sometimes I think they do that just to confuse us anglers ... and sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Yeah, don't feel like the "lone ranger", there. I've fished it a couple of times, myself, many decades ago ... but that was when my fishing buddies & I were into Bass fishing. We did talk to one angler, setting up for Crappie @ night w/lights, just as we were getting ready to start "worm fishing" that night ... and he said they were there, but scarce. Also told us there were White Bass in the lake, but most people seemed to fish for Bluegill, Catfish, or Bass. We basically only fished the bank along the road going in and the bank along the Interstate ... and never even scouted the SW branch of the lake, or much of the lake from the ramp to the split. Personally I didn't much care for the gravel road, shallow ramp, and the heavy moss presence out from it for the first 50' or so (which was the conditions we faced, back then).

Looking at the satellite view, now ... and I see they've done a lot of upgrades/improvements to the road, ramp, store, etc. So, it might be looked at, by me, as an alternative place to go, rather than Cedar Creek (which gets overly crowded quite often). It's about the same 1hr drive for me.

Good evening. Yes they have done quite abit of work around the dock area . They have a couple of new parking areas. The next big thing that needs to happen is dredge some of the silt around dock area. There are several nice crappie in the lake now . White , black , and the ones with the black stipe from there fin down their nose. Also some nice hybrid striped bass, and yellow Perch , have caught some in the 14 inch range . Have heard of a few 17 inch crappie most are from 8 to 12 .
