I'm still on the fence about those things. I would have to try some food cooked in one of them before I bought one. They're pretty spendy for a kitchen gadget. I've watched a lot of youtube reviews for them and they are all hit or miss on flavor remarks. The one thing that I continually notice is that there is usually some dry flower/batter in spots on breaded food after cooking. I can remember back when oven frying chicken was the going thing and it was always the same way. Something about getting a mouthful of powder just never went over with my taste buds. lol

HitTheClicka, Man, if you have time, get me or post the MFG and Model# of the unit you used. There are a pile of them out there now, but looks like what you used would work for me

    Thanks, Jim

Both photos are the finished product that were cooked15 minutes at 370 degrees. It’s surprising how moist the fish is.

Quackstackr, you're right about the powder. One thing I noticed, if you put cornmeal on the filets, when you spray em with the oil, if you leave a spot dry, it will be powdery when done. But if you spray both sides of filet, it turns out good. Still has a lot less oil in filet than deep frying.

perchjerker, I got the power air fryer oven. It's the biggest one they got. I wanted one with the racks for cooking quantity. It also has tumbler basket for fries, tater tots, etc., and has a rotisserie for chickens, pork loins... here's a pic with model #.
