Ought license yesterday at local grocery store
Ladie used a small tablet to process.
What business don't have internet, computer, fax and printer?
How do they place orders, process cards, sell gas without them?
I can understand the frustration, if I remember correctly they had to pay about $700 for the old equipment
Reminds me of the squawk when the city of Somerset started selling gas.
It was all over the news that it would put the little stores out of business
They cried they only made a couple pennies per gal and now they would lose that.
Truth was they got 7 cents per gallon regardless of the price of gas

Bigdaddad, I agree with you. Years ago, I went to Alabama fishing(I was from KY). I asked what a 7 day non-resident fishing license cost. They asked me what state I was from. Long story short, Alabama charged me what a person from Alabama would have been charged if they wanted 7 day non-resident license to fish in KY. I thought this was pretty slick. I guess they had the non-resident rates loaded in their system for all the States.

I refuse to be tattooed or chipped by the government. LOL I guess that will help if that is all you are required to do is tell them that number.
    It is what it is!

Missouri has what they call a Heritage Card. I think it's $2-3 when you buy your first Mo license. It is like a credit card. When I buy license, they swipe the card and it prints all my info onto the new license. No more standing around trying to make the clerk at WalMart understand what license I want or my info.
