If you are worried about how we treat folks who move here, just as Cajun Fryer and BIGBADDAD. They both came here from IL and as hard as we tried to run them off, they stayed and have became pretty good buddies to all of us locals.
i thought you liked us Yankees from the north, just for our good looks as Billbob would say!

Hey.. I resemble that remark. I tell folks down here that I escaped from Illinois.

My wife still reads the newspaper online from the area that we moved away from. I'm sorry to say that it's getting like a war zone up there. We still go back and visit family in the St. Louis area but I'm glad I don't live in the vicinity of our old home anymore.

I drive dealer trades out of Louisville and I hate to go to Ill. They have some really stupid gun laws there. I can take my weapon with me, but I have to keep it locked in the trunk, Now what freaking good would it do me if I needed it?

I understand how you feel about their gun laws. I worked in East St. Louis, Illinois from 2005 until I retired and moved to Tennesee in 2014.
That city has the highest per capital murder rate in the country and it was a felony charge if you were caught carrying a gun to protect yourself. The state of Illinois did not issue any concealed carry permits at the time I lived there. This along with the rediculous taxes in Illinois were the biggest reasons I left.

I never have figured out why people want milk sandwiches so badly when it snows.
