    Default spider rig attempt #2


    so you guys probably already know this but nobody had any minnows this am. decided to try artificials bobby garland baby shads, and crappie magic white somethings. on the water and my lines were tangled badly had to cut lines and start over finally got that mess taken care of spent the day just trolling around listening to tunes and enjoying scenery [see eagle post] i'm i to late for this do you guy's actually have any luck this time of year with artificials, or should i hang it up till spring

    I use jigs all year long, try trolling-long lining - Depth & color Is the key.

    Did settlers trace grocery not have any minnows? Heading there tomorrow. Are they supposed to be getting some more? Thx

    i dont think so settlers trace said even their bait guy was out elmers in elk creek was also out

    Stick with it try to find fish before setting up and try crappie nibbles on your hooks

    Spray your jigs with Slab Sauce......it works. SLABSAUCE Spray on Fish Attractant

    thanks i actually did spray slab sauce on the jigs, but i was not marking many fish where i was i was trying to find them but just could not seem to today went from shallow to deep and very few fish i need to get my electronics set up correctly also transducer is on transom and i have to keep turning around to see my screen i need to either get another fish finder or get set up to use my existing one in both places [get another transducer already have another mount ]

    Don't give up on them suckers keep plugging away at it. I troll jigs all year long but look for bait, fish will not be far behind. The fish around here in NC seemed to have moved up in a little shallower water
