Linville Lake is a 356acre lake just off I-75 South, at Renfro Valley (exit 62) ... about 45 miles from Lexington (Richmond Rd/I-75 exit).

Yes I fished but didn't have any boats for tournament. Bite was off only caught four crappie one around 11 inches and 3 around 10 . Had fun. Hung into a monster spoonbill just guessing around 30-50 lbs. on 14 ' rod .and yep he got away wouldn't fit in crappie net.

Stinks on no boats. I'd like to fish one if I ever get off weekends. Somebody said there are yellow perch in there now. Have you caught any?
