Yeah, I saw 3 guys in a pontoon slowly dragging minnows under floats & tightlines out in about 20-25fow. Didn't look like they were fishing very deep either, from what I could tell. I heard one say they had 9 keepers, which meant they only had 36 more to go

COE website says thermocline at the dam is at around 10-11ft deep ... and I certainly didn't catch any deeper than that. I just hope the "dirty green" color of the water was from the rise/fall after the 4" rain they got at the first of the month, and not the turnover beginning.

I think it's starting to turn over, very black looking all
    the way up to Chowning.

Sorry, I was referring from Settlers to Chowning.
I thought it looked blackish Thursday.
Fishing was pretty tough for me.

Dang ... I know it looked "dirty" (brownish tint to the green) and figured it was just from the lake being pulled down from the 5ft rise so fast. At least I hope that's it. There was a lot of boat traffic, too, with several of the larger boats just riding around aimlessly ... causing a lot of muddy water along the shoreline, then blown down the bank by the wind.

This just doesn't look like a turnover setup :

But, then again, these values are taken at the dam ... so (plus they're 11days old)

Well, I had to have something to blame the hard fishing on!
