Default Kentucky and Barkley from the bank?

Is there anywhere on the lakes that I can possibly find a mess of fish around the first week of November? Normally this is a hunting trip for me but my shoulder wont allow me to draw a bow this year so I figure me and a couple others are gonna prod around looking for some fish. Backwoods camping so I'm not going to bring the boat. Any advice would be appreciated.

When the new EggnersFerry bridge was built, part of the project was fishing access was built along both the east and west approaches to the bridge. The west side(Aurora side) walkway is on the southern side of Hwy 68. East side walkway is on the north side of the road. The west side has a bunch of brush piles within casting distance of the walkway. That might be good for crappie in your time frame.
