    Default Southern Crappie Rods


    I ordered 2 more rods from SC. I knew they were backordered when I ordered. After a longer than expected wait, they arrived today. The package included an extra rod at no cost. It's hard to beat great customer service. I know where all my future business will be going.

    Ed Duke is as good as they come and he has products second to none. When the Field and Stream on-line video of us catching catfish on cranks comes out in a week or so, nobody will be able to say there is a rod on the market that is any better but of course you already knew that Mike. !8.5 pound flatheads on a SCR143T will make a believer out of anybody.

    I have no idea how the edit process works but our 1st catfish was 5 minutes after we started and it was a channel over 5 pounds that was lassoed and pulled BACKWARDS 80 feet to the boat on a SCR143T rod. Should be quite a testimonial for Ed's rods. We had more footage than they needed in 2 hours with 4 keeper bass and crappie, not to mention a BUNCH of cats.

    caught a 26" lively walleye on my 16 last weekend. It was a personal best.
