Im sure that had something to do with the slow bite. I have the TVA site on my phone, but I usually only look at the water level and not the discharge rate.

High temps with bluebird skies and virtually no current is putting the hurt on the trolling bite. We left work early and tested the afternoon bite on the north end. Only caught four crappie pulling cranks and there was no pattern to speak of-scattered over 24-30fow moving between some of my go-to tracks that weren't producing. Found a decent shallow yellow bass bite trolling along rocky shorelines-they weren't picky about what colors were in the water. They were ambushing tiny minnows seeking refuge in the rocks. Little current has bait and predatory fish scattered across the lake. We're entering the dog days of summer so stick with it and the bite should pick up if conditions start to change.

How will I know the incoming water rate? Could you shine the light for a blind man?

At the bottom of the tva lake report will be the current day plus two future day inflow and out flow rates. Incoming water is the inflow and the discharge is the outflow. This data is listed as predicted data.
jordanjones thanked you for this post
I see it on the page now. So, what difference in the numbers would be considered decent current?
