Do you mind sharing what part of the lake you were fishing? I fished Fishing Creek Saturday night and caught fish in 25 ft of water, 11 ft deep. A friend of mine fished at Wolf Creek and caught a nice limit in 30 ft of water 15 foot deep.

I did catch 4 or 5 but I didn't try them until really late. I didn't plan on using them but I got a little bored and find some Monkey Juice and cosmic blast both shad bodies in the bottom of my bag and found a jig head in the bottom of the boat....All but one of them came from vertical jigging and one from flipping it to the outside of the light and letting it fall back to me. I am planning on going back Thursday night if I do I will take some pictures this time.

I am going to try some night fishing soon. What type of spot do you look for to set up your lights and do you stay in that one spot so the minnows will build up around the lights? I am obviously new to night crappie fishing. LOL. Thanks
