You've been fortunate then Jerry, know several folks that went back to what they were using before after breaking several poles (Jenkos), just a fact.

Slow vertical trolling rods are more about your style of fishing and your budget than anything. If you like to crank and troll and can only buy one set of six, BNM PST would be tough to beat. If you don't pull cranks, and you don't like to hold the rods in heavy winds, BNM Bucks would be a good option. If you set the hook like a bass fisherman, backbone may cost you, but if you don't, backbone make suit you. If you're a braid fisherman, you may consider cermanic inserts in the eyes. IMO, no slow vertical trolling rod is made with the quality of a St. Croix or Loomis, so you have to make do with the selection available and your style. Disclaimer: I've used and broke or damaged all brands except Denaili, and I'm not a rod pro-staffer.

Go to Fast Eddies and check out the 14' ACC Crappie Stix. They are great rods.
