The two guys I fish with most I met at church. I don't know what part of Kentucky you are in, but if you are in the west end come to the Fall Shin-Dig and meet lots of like-minded folks.
How do you guys find your fishing buddies?

This site. The shindig. Church and just life encounters.
Met mine growing up, then they were gone on doing their own thing and I ran into another (Kenny) along the way through my 20's ... then a friend of his came along (Paul) and his brother (Gerry), and they & I got together. Gerry passed away several years ago, & my buddy Kenny prefers Bass fishing ... so now it's me and Paul, mostly. My other fishing buddy (Carl) I met at work, decades ago, and he just got his own boat, so now he doesn't depend on me.
My main "hobby", since I was a kid, has been fishing ... so, most all my long term friends have been fishing partners ... or else they haven't stayed around for long.
Quailtail, what part of Ky you from? i have a Cpl fishing buddies, one being my wife and kids the other I used to work for.
A pretty little brunette gave me my 2 best ones!!

Not to ambush this thread but I'm looking for a fishin' buddy also. I live in Bowling Green, traded my motorcycle for a boat late last year and now need somebody to fish with. Hopefully they can back a trailer a lot better than I can...........
I can relate, except mine is a big pretty brunette. Plus another two generations. The little great granddaughter (when she was 3 1/2) told her mother to stop the car. They had just passed a roadside pond, and she said: "Mom, stop the car. This is important. We need to call grandpa and go fishing".
