Another trip to Barren yesterday, and was great to see most of the trash has worked its way off the water for now, but also note thats some large pieces of wood steal floating around so be careful. Fish was not working for me today, with water temp 60-64 degrees and fished water 3' to 13' and only ended up with 4 fish, I talked to a couple of guys that had almost a dozen but caught them in the early morning hours fishing 10' to 15' water. It does look like spider rigging is the best choice for now but I guest I'm going to have to get out of bed and get my boat on the water by day light if I want some action. My question is just what are crappie looking for gravel, mud, clay or rock for bedding and just how deep do they bed?
