Wasn't as bad as expected
Fishing Creek had good color around the park
Got to the water about noon. Met another fellow that had been to Wolf earlier today, he said it was too muddy.
Played with the Ultrex too long , spot lock is great!
Finally got serious around 4pm, caught lots of shorts and 10 keepers 12-14in.
Best fishing was in the visible trees that were in 14-18 fow fishing about 3ft deep
Thanks for great report.
I may head to Fishing Creek tomorrow.
Mike
I'm a fair weather fisherman and not very good. Didn't go but plan on going Monday.
I plan on pushing jigs for the first time and if that doesn't work I will try single polling next to the tree tops.
I have a Terrova with a 360 mounted on it and a HB 1198 and still have no luck.
I will be fishing in the Park area at Fishing Creek.
I do okay at Green River and Cave Run but Lake Cumberland no luck.
Algenco I appreciate your reports and looking forward to meeting you at Fling On The Green.

And on up
I think they may have moved up

We just got back from Cumberland, and the hot spot right now is Beaver Creek. Everything was being caught in good numbers. Water temps in the 60's. We also had good success at Burnside. 1st day at Burnside we caught 27 and missed and lost many more. Of the 27, 21 were over a pound and the biggest was 1.87. We also caught many bass while fishing for crappies. We caught all fish on jigs with small swimbaits. We also fished Wolf Creek and Fishing Creek without any success.
Thanks for a great report!!!
Maybe I will get a break and go.
To many people depend on me that can't help their self.
