    Default White bass and stripers

So, I haven't gotten into a mess of white bass or stripers in years. I grew up in Southern Illinois and all summer long and into the fall we could always get into whites and the occasional striper below Rend Lake dam. Since we have been down here (almost 6 years now) I have tried my luck below Kentucky and Barkley dams and outside of the one or two here and there I just can't get into them. Actually I have never even really seen anyone catch many. Am I just not hitting it right or am I missing something here?

We catch them 'til our arms are tired below the greenup dam. They hit on jigs, live bait, spinners, everything. And they don't really care if the water is high or low. Seems like they are always biting. But when I drive 45 min to the dam, I'm usually going for big hybrids striped bass

You might do well booking a striper trip with Darrell VanVactor or Jim Doom. They both have fished below the dams for years and do very well on stripers/hybrids/whites.
