Default Taylorsville Lake this Presidents Day 2017

My wife and I took a drive to Settlers Trace to do pre spring recon. Arrived at around 10:30 A.M. and parking lot was full on both sides all the way down with trucks and empty trailers. Water wasnt the normal
blue/green but light brown. Reports from the people we talked to trailering their boat was there wasn't much floating debris. Noticed that the boat dock had new bumpers on all three sides.
Seems on the marina side a section of about one and a half foot was loose and screws were hanging where it got ripped off. Thought Ide take a screw driver and try to re attach but it took the star
type screw driver. A simple fix that would help it last the season most likely. Thanks to whoever did it. I dont believe its pre spawn yet but I think we are coming up on some good fishing as we go into
spring. Remember you cant catch fish if you dont go and fish dont need to see to eat or they would all be extinct . They can also smell very well. Weve done so well on tube jigs with any attractant.
I heard and believe they are still 8 to 12 feet off the points and around down timber.
