Thread: Radio Talk Show

Tips for the novice with help locating crappie, especially if they don't know where specific brush has been dropped. I figure most fisherman who have either dropped brush or already know where many are located are probably pretty knowledgeable with most aspects of crappie fishing but the novice who has no knowledge of that need the most advise for where to begin their search in the fist place.

Congrats on being asked to do this. Is this going to be something you link to a podcast of it or is it only a live event? What station will it be on?

The radio station is Bristol Broadcasting FM 102.5. The radio show is D2W. It will also air on DrawntoWhitetail.com

It will air next Sunday the 26th at 7AM. It will be live on Facebook Monday evening. We'll be recording between 5:30 and 6:30 Monday evening.

Might just take a moment to mention boat safety/courtesy due to large amount of boats during peak spring season. Especially with sizable amount of out of towners with limited lake knowledge. Congrats on this oppprtunity and thx for plugging this great site.

Have you talked to Paul Rister ?? He may have some good ideas on what to stress in your talk.

If this is going to be a Q&A type of presentation ... I'd get the Q's in advance, if possible, so you can edit your A's down to a minimum timeframe (but still get the most/best info out there).

As a matter of fact Pappy, I've contacted Paul and am trying to get him to join me on the show.

Direct information from a law enforcement officer stated that covering two of the biggest enbayments the past few months, he has been writing a lot of tickets for short fish. He went on to say that 90% of these violations were committed by local residents.
Please discuss the proper and correct way to measure a fish. And that if your putting them on ice, they will shrink about 1/4" +/-.
