Good day. Was raining pretty good when I got out of church yesterday. I'm looking at try to go Wednesday.

Russ, right? It rained on us a little, but mostly just a drizzle. Started out trying to troll a little with no luck. 12 or 13 were caught in the hour right before dark; single pole jigs held pretty still...

I texted a friend today as I waited impatiently while I watched as two people, as they moved at the speed of an elderly sloth, as they installed a new battery on my jeep. My friend told me that the lake was murky to muddy, and that he'd checked several crappie fishermen who'd caught from 3 to over forty, on minnows, while he was out today. I'm still looking at Wednesday and think I'll take a shot at verticle jigging some beds.
