Don, at least you are not complaining about our trip. Lots of folks who fish with me to learn pulling cranks complain that their trip ends up costing them BIG $$$$. New electronics, new trolling motor, new rods and reels, etc. I have no idea why I get blamed for that? Oh yea, throw in a few dozen new cranks also.

Nothing to complain about we had a great time. There won't be u-haul behind my hearse. I plan to enjoy myself. I have all of the supplies to start painting lures. The weather needs to get a little colder, too much to do outside when it is warm.

It really feels funny to be on the lake this time of the year. For the last 20 something years I was always chasing ducks or getting ready for the snow goose season now while my boat sat in the garage.
Amen Dux. It has felt awful weird this year, no 3am alarm clocks, broken decoys, frozen motor parts, and the list goes on.
We did get out today for our first duck hunt and it was nice to be back in the blind. Most of the time I was thinking about the feeshes tho!!!

    Did you say yellow perch?

I fished the docks that day at a marina on Barren and kept 18. I was anxious to try the fish cleaning table my grand kids got me for Christmas. That table is stronger than I'd thought. Didn't walk or wobble down the drive, nice too to turn on the faucet instead of fighting my garden hose.

Brian, the only fishees I was worried about was the ones that were trying to jump into my boat this morning in the swamps.

Picture taken with phone ... phone turned topside to the left ... pic translates 1/4 turn to the left when posted on this site & pic was taken with phone straight up & down ---- so when pic is taken with phone turned sideways to the left, the pic translates to upside down (1/2 turn) when posted.

Turn your phone sideways ... top to the RIGHT ... for all pics you intend to post on here, and pics will come out correct. Otherwise you would have to download them from your phone to your computer or to a hosting site (like Photobucket) and use them to post your pics.
