2-3 feet on leaders but mine is from the weight back to the crank. 1.0-2.0 on speed depending on water temp and mood of fish.
How long of a leader from crank back to the weight do you guys use and what speeds do you push them at?Thanks in advance for your replies.

I was hoping you would respond to this question as I have read that you do this.thank you
Some of the mid state crank pushers use 5ft leaders (6# test) behind 2oz weights @ 1.8mph and do very well. So, I don't think there's any "in stone written rule" to pushing cranks ... in fact, I've pushed them with 1/2oz weight + 3ft leader @ 0.6-0.9mph and caught fish.

I have pull cranks successfully for a couple years and though I would try pushing this year and was surprised that I caught just as many fish or more using Scott V method (3 oz wt with about 4 ft leader) with reel counter at 17 ft boat speed 2.3 mph heading into the wind need to invest in a sock.
Yep Scott is the crankbait guru
