Thank you Chaunc. Couple of them crappie pushing two lbs. Try to swing one of them in the boat and broke one of my best rods. It snap like a toothpick, first time to have that to happen.

Great report. I have been wanting to try this lake since the last couple of years, the KDFWR has been reporting lots of really nice crappie in the lake.

The fact that I live about 3-4 hours away in N.KY, coupled with reports of it being 'trashy' (as in lots of floating trash), has kept me away. I really hope to try the lake out for crappie one of these days.

Mbk when they bring the lake up for summer pool is when it gets real trashy. Once they drop it down to winter pool, good time to fish but the winter pool takes a lot of the acreage away.
