Memorial Day Appreciation
I want to wish all our veterans on this site a Happy Memorial Day. Let's not forget the ultimate sacrifices so many families of our blessed country have made to ensure we still retain our freedom. If it weren't for our brave men and women fighting for our country, we wouldn't have the great opportunity to enjoy our lakes and streams and pursue our passions of fishing. We could all be speaking German or Japanese and be ruled by ruthless dictators. Our leaders today seem like they don't have a clue about the big picture in life, but our men and women still have to put their lives on the line everyday and fight for us at home. Spend some time today thanking and honoring veterans and active members of our military.
From my home and family, I want to salute all the brave souls that have been lost fighting for us here at home. I thank God that you have made the ultimate sacrifice so we can still be free.

Great post and I send prayers out regularly for all our veterans, their families, and those currently serving. I especially honor and pray for those whom have given their lives and or sacrificed physical/mental injuries. , These prayers are extended to their families. Freedom has a cost, often it has to be paid with the blood of our vets.
