Default Caught a few nice Redear and missed the Storm!

We just spent 5 days on the north end of Ky. Lake and caught some nice Redear like this. Wifey had a ball and so did I!

That fish was close to 2# at 12.5". I didn't weigh and don't generally but I was in the bakery business and meat-cutting so I have a pretty good idea by feel. Also those 2 fillets were big enough to make a nice sandwich!

me and the wife fished jonathan creek the 12th and13th caught about 60 or 70 gills and 1 redear all were males nothing with any size. i don,t think we would of caught any without a sidescan to find some beds. im thinking they are just getting started. but you read other post and they are catching them. i,m thinking barkley might be a little warmer and a little further along. that is my 2cents worth
