    Default Barren Report 4/10*

Fished from 10-3. Water was 56.3 most everywhere. Color was green but visibility was only about two foot.

Fished in Peter's, and the creek arms across from state ramp. Fished a cane bucket in 15' and caught one white 11.25" and caught a 10.75" black from a pvc stake bed in 8'.

There is a little bit of scattered drift on the main lake, be careful running.

    Pic to follow.

    That fish

This guy was strutting to his hearts content in the very back end of a cove on a flat. He was out there all by his lonesome no more than a few feet from the water's edge.

Weather I think is supposed to stabilize with highs in the upper 60's starting today going to almost 80 by this coming Monday. Main thing is the night time lows are supposed to come up around Thursday. I would suspect that water temps will be closer to 62-63 by the end of the weekend.

That's what I'm hoping now I just need to find a safe spot to put the kayak in on the lake without glitter boats running me over.

If I was kayaking I would go up to browns ford. or walnut creek and paddle up into walnut creek proper and fish in there.

You can also put in a kayak at Dry Creek Unit on the WMA.

With two vehicles you can put in at the ramp above 100 and then fish down to Browns ford and take out there as well and not get glittered.
