Thread: Any updates on Ky Lake?

don't know about the fishing, BUT there's storms moving thru Sunday afternoon and evening.

At ky lake now......
Will start fishing Jonathan creek tomorrow.....
Look for a jon boat with a big black lab and say hi!
We'll compare notes.

Sometimes it's a game of fishing where others ain't and finding fish.

And that's all I'm going to say about that.

My brother lives not far away from Jonathan creek. Some years ago I called him and ask if the fish were biting. He said " I don't know,but I just drove by there and I think I could of walked from one side to the other by stepping boat to boat and never got my feet wet".

fished in jonathan 2 wks ago. it wasnt good but they had like 6" of rain prior to that and nobody i talked with seemed to be doing well. i put in and headed under the bridge toward the main lake. bout halfway between the bridge and the mouth of the bay was a long flat and it was loaded with shad. i stayed in the shad and managed to catch a few dinks and one fish about 2lbs. shad were in 4-8 fow fishing right off the bottom in about 6fow was where all my bites came. hope this helps i know its not much

Last couple days crops have started back up after all that rain,temps and water up and downs!!!

Slow today, spider rigging Jonathan.....
New at this,but managed a few...
Biggest went 15.5"

Hopefully today will be better.
