    Default Ky Lake conditions

I'm headed to Johnathan Crk. area tomorrow night to fish next week. I already know the water will be up and will stay that way all week (not sure how that will affect the fish) that doesn't concern me near as much as worrying about how much drift there will be on the lake. I usually run down as far down as Blood Rv. and up as far a Smith Bay.

Any advice on what to expect would be appreciated.

TVA and Corps are not revising the lake levels upward yet after all the rain we have had here. Local friend had over 6 inches in his gauge for the last 2 days total. If the lake starts rising and the currents slows, fishing should improve. The creeks on the west side will be chocolate milk but LBL side should be better.

You can just about plow any bay on the west side right now. LBL side isn't as bad but still HEAVILY stained.
