    Default ky lake

gonna be making a trip to ky lake this wkend with some friends. was planning to try fishing on saturday, weather permitting. we r staying at moors resort so i thought either big bear or jonathan creek. just was wondering yalls opinion on which may be the better option with all the rain/water this wk? i have fished big bear a few times but these areas are a little further north than where i normally go. any input is appreciated, thank you in advance

Big bays will get muddy. We been catching out around the front of the bay's. I hit something getting on the trailer and 300 bucks. Lake is very low. Good luck and watch the wind cast. Ky gets big.

Sugar Bay ramp has something about 10 feet straight out from the ramp. I have since learned several people have hit it. Wonder if there is anyone to call and fix it!!

Buddy, if you find somebody who cares, tell them to pick up all the foam that is completely covering the north bank of Vickers. I'm sure it came from the bridge construction.

thanks to everyone for the advice not sure it mattered, fish seemed pretty turned off and water conditions seemed less than favorable. ended up fishing some ledges at the mouth of jonathan to start out missed one good bite and decided to head down a flat on the north side of the bay. got into about 7-8 fow and shad were everywhere so with little wind i decided to stay n the shad and push minnows around. caught one dink and one 2lber only 2 fish we caught for the day (saturday). talked with about 4-5 different groups fishing that day and with one keeper we apparently did the best. i will def be back though. water temp was 54 at the mouth and 56 in the shallower stuff

Yep, someone made a mess. It has been there several weeks. I also figured it came from the new brigde one of those days the wind was real strong.
