All the birds are at least two weeks early .Might give you some kind of indication ..
With temperatures on the rise and the forecast looking balmy, I'm afraid it will be easy to miss some prime days. I put in Sunday at Double Creek, which is basically the Lake Barkley dam, and found 52-53 degree water.
I would think we are 2.5-3 weeks ahead of the normal schedule. Give me some opinions...I would be sick if I missed a bunch of prime days.

They will do it when water gets to 60, when doesn't really matter to me, I chase them all year when I have time. But what I don't like is it is setting up for them or part of them to do it as the water rises and eggs will end up high and dry when tva inevitably jerks the lakes back down again.

KY lake temps are barely close to 50 in most bays right now. All this rain and cloud cover is not going to warm the water up all that much. Austin is correct, when the water temps get to and stay above 60, it will be on, regardless of what the calendar says.

I found 53.5 degree temps yesterday afternoon
And by time I left today it was almost 55
Warm night temps always help too..
Supposed to be almost 80 and sunny a couple days next week, as muddy as the water is going to be it will warm up quick.
