That time of the year you need to fish little jonathan, behind 68 bridge. Put your poles out and drift.

You may want to give the mouth of J. Creek a try also. Right side 100 yards out from last boat dock on the riight. Several mounds and brush piles, plus a few drop offs going from 8-10' down to 15-20'. Good spawning banks also. GL

While there, you also may want to head a little more south to Blood River. I was in the same place you are now last year, notknowing where to go on the Blood River. It was pretty obvious when I got there. The earliar in the spring the closer they were to the 50 boats fishing near the mouth of the river. As it warmed up each week, we just kept moving back into the river. Boats are everywhere but don't trust that everyone isin the right depth.

Last year we watched a ton of boats stay out deep where no one was catching any slabs. I moved up into 5 foot of water and they turned on at the snap of a finger. What really amazed me was, not to many boats shifted their positions.

Look for the crowds and then keep changing things up from jig color, depth, size, and type. Once I keep catching fish ona certain combination, I switch all my poles to match that combination. Things change quickly with temperature, sun light, and weather so you may have to change also. Good luck.
