Strange Bait Closed
Just a heads up to everyone, the only bait shop I'm aware of that was dependable, open throughout the year and close to Burkesville/Albany Ky closed its doors yesterday.
I fish this side of Dale Hollow pretty often so gonna have to devise a new way of getting my minnows. Looks like I either buy them the day before from up in Jamestown or I am considered building my own tank.
On a better not the lake was clearing up yesterday and I managed 12 nice ones on the flats slow trolling spider rigs.

I have heard a local has purchased the bait shop. I talked with him last Saturday at the state dock. I certainly hope someone does.

I've never fished in that part of the state but will say it's pretty country. We were there several years ago when my step daughters high school softball team played in the state tournement.
