    Default Green River Lake Lodging

Can anyone recommend a couple of nice places to stay near Green River Lake. Would prefer a cabin or a nice motel that offers the ability to plug in my onboard charger.

    Check out
Holmes Bend Marina: Holmes Bend Boat Dock - Houseboating on Green River Lake in Kentucky Houseboats (river end of lake)
Green River Marina : Green River Marina (at the dam)
Emerald Isle Marina : Emerald Isle Resort & Marina | It's a Green River Lake Life (Robinson Creek branch of lake)

Best contact the one you wish to stay at, as some may be closed or running on limited facilities during the Winter months.

Short of actually being "on" the lake .... Campbellsville, Ky is just North of the lake & Columbia, Ky is just South of the lake. Both cities have motels.

I've only actually stayed in a cabin at Holmes Bend, at a Best Western in Columbia, and at the Dreamland Motel in Columbia ... so I cannot give you any info on the other marinas or Campbellsville facilities.

The Best Western in Campellsville is a great place with electric available and good rates. So is the Holiday Inn Express. If you haggle with them a bit, you can usually get their price down some. Around back by the indoor pool, they have some electric hookups. They also have a great breakfast (as does Best Western) which is part of your room price. I've also stayed in the condos at Emeral Isle resort. They are nice, but a bit pricey. But you do get a boat slip with your rental, with electric. Parking down near the marina can be tough, especially on busy weekends.

Only problem with staying in Campbellsville is there is no place close to get minnows on your way to the lake.

Two places I know of on Lone Valley Road:

The Resort Campground and the Tackle Box right before you turn to go to Lone Valley Campground.

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone know if there are any private cabins near the lake for rent?

I like to stay at Towne Motel in Campbellsville. Good people with clean rooms. May be down there this weekend.
