    Default Cumberland day

Fished White Oak yesterday. Water temp is still around 65 at the surface. Bite was off. Caught just a few. Two keepers and three shorts along with some bluegill and a smallmouth. in 30 FOW around 25 deep. On minnows. Jigs and roadrunners didn't produce. Water is stained in this areas of the lake. Hoping the cooler weather in the coming week will drop the water temp more.

Fished White Oak today. Jigs. Two keepers, one was 14" but the other was just 10". I'm puzzled that they are so tough to catch as a week age we could catch a dozen or so casting the bank, and the water level is sorta stable now . So why? Yesterday caught a 9" bluegill, largest for me on Cumberland.
