Yes, we are "planning" on having a Fall Brawl.

Chucky & I will be discussing potential dates over the next couple of weeks. We are very aware of the Crappie USA tourney dates, and will take them into consideration before setting a date for the Fall Brawl. The 17th & 24th are the current best options for Oct. but those dates are contingent upon Chucky being available, & the pavilion being available .... otherwise, we may consider a date in early Nov.

i got news that they were going to fish disable veterans on the 17th but don't know for sure

.... Oct is going to be a busy month for many of our members :

Oct 7th-10th ... Crappie USA Classic @ Patoka Lake, Ind.
Oct 17th ... Disabled Vets fishing @ Green River Lake
Oct 30th-31st ... Crappie USA Super Event @ Lake Cumberland

This leaves Oct 24th as the most likely date for the Fall Brawl. And even that date may have competition with opening day of early Fall Turkey season, and possibly some members will be pre-fishing Cumberland for the following weekend's CUSA Super Event (those that have to work during the days leading up to that weekend).

No date is "set in stone" as of yet, but I will be in touch with Chucky (asap) to determine the date, pending availability of the picnic pavilion & a cabin. Once that determination has been made, I will be posting the particulars & a volunteer sign-up for food & other necessities.
