Gonna have to be Oct 24th, if we have it in Oct .... otherwise we'd have to wait & have it Nov 7th. The only problem with having it in Nov is the COE closes the restrooms and we'd have to contact them & have them send someone to unlock them.

Chucky is our chef & has all the necessary equipment for the fish fry, plus he's the main prize solicitor ... so, no Chucky, no Brawl. And right now he's so backlogged with work that he's not yet sure he can make it. I'll be back in contact with him later this week, to see where we stand on things.

Pappy I might know a guy who can unlock them for us. Let me ask and see if he can and will.

Update us Pappy (please)? My uncle is wanting me to take him and a friend out on Green on the 24th. He is a Vietnam veteran dealing with cancer and I hope the fish are on fire!
After I hooked him up with 4 bags of FEE-LAYS (no pun intended Hollywood) he wanted to go see this water.

Ray Ray .... there's very little chance that the Fall Brawl could occur on the 24th. We're still waiting on Chucky to finish up his CUSA Classic, and contact our girl in COE (to find out if they'd rent the pavilion & open the restrooms in Nov). Earliest shot we have at it is Nov 7th, and that's all dependent on Chucky & COE. Chucky has been working long weekday hours & some weekends in order to get his work caught up ... then his COE contact was on vaca last week, and he's at Patoka this week.

It is what it is ... no Chucky = no fish fry, and a scant amount of prizes (if any). All I do is post about the affair, MC the prize giveaways, and try and pick a date where the most people can attend without interfering with tourneys or major hunting events/dates.

We should know if the Nov 7th date is doable by sometime late next week. We've pretty much given up on Oct 24th.
