Thread: Fall Pay-It-Forward Shindig

Well Its official. Had a good meal and discussion about the Fall Shindig last night with the gang.
We were in agreement that the is a vast bit of knowledge out there from the members that can be shared, so this year we thought about Paying It Forward, Sharing information and things we all have learned or have been given over the years.
We will be having a FJ Tourney on Friday Nov 6th from 7am-3pm with weigh-in by 4pm. We will go by the Ky FJ Rules.
Later that evening we will be enjoying some of Whiskers famous deer chili. With a meet and great.
On Saturday Nov 7 we will be eating at 12 noon. Following the meal we will pitch in an clean up real quick and start with the discussions. Bed Building, Spider Rigging set up, 2 poling, Long lining, Pulling Cranks, Electronics, Jig Pouring, and more to be added.
Also there will be a table for anyone wanting to bring items you may want to sell. (electronics, poles, trolling motors) This will be a good chance to move some stuff.
We are looking forward to seeing each and everyone there because everyone has something to add.
There is so much knowledge out there about this great sport, lets pass it on to others.

I think we had a good meeting and hope everything works out. I am interested in what others have to share and how they think about crappie fishing. I will be doing a demonstration on a plastic bait I have been perfecting on how to fish it and how to make it. I have had some good luck on these baits and there is another member on here that has been catching a lot of crappie on these baits and heads I make. I want it to be a surprise for the shindig so if you make the fish fry and stay a little while we are going to share a lot of info from some very good fisher people. Thanks guys and gals for all the good ideas on Pay-It -Forward CDC 2015.
