If you are asking about submersible lights for night fishing for crappie, stripes, etc---I use green LED lights because of the low battery drain and because I have done better with green than white.

I agree with mrdux. I switched from white to green light two years ago and now use nothing but green LEDs. I nightfish for crappie on Lake Cumberland and do really well. I've switched totally to Alumiglow lights. They are a bit pricey, but practically indestructible.

I also fish lake Cumberland at night. I have heard it is the hardest lake to crappie fish , not sure why. I like the green lights better than white green looks more natural.

I also night fish cumberland with lights.....I like the white lights the best.....but i think it is how you fish that makes the difference between white or green lights........I think the clearer the water the white lights works the best for the way i fish...I started out using the green lights but did way better with the white lights.....

I built my own LED lights. Found plans online and bought Chinese LED strips.
