Thread: WHAT STAGE OF SPAWN?

I was reading Randy Kuhens report that said the spawn was done. Is this true? From the reports on here it sounds like it hasnt started yet. What can I expect on the 18th. Will be there 4 days.

Personally I agree with Randy, I think the bulk of them are done. Seems like they finished up quicker this year than they have the last several years. Crappie Masters is here this weekend and I think you will see much lower weights than when Crappie USA was in town a few weeks ago. No doubt there are some fish that haven't finished yet. That said by the 18th they should be starting to perk up again but expect the next couple weeks to be pretty tough. Hopefully the warmer temps they are forecasting will warm the water enough to perk the bluegill and redear up the next few weeks.
