I have seen it done and it looks good if applied professionally! I'd go with white cause the black and darker colors get hot!
My bass boat needs carpet and am considering doing something like rhino liner or something similar.. Has anyone done this , looking for ideas good or bad?

Adds weight......go with the glue with rubber crushed thrown over the top. You can buy the rubber crushed in 5 gallon buckets. Guy who built my boat lets it dry then shop vacs up extra and back into the bucket. Floor is off-white with a little bluengray. Agree with floor cover. Old boat had a light brown and was to hot in the summer for bare feet.
Plate boater post us a pic of your floor. Please

Buddy of mine did his pontoon boat floor in durabak........ 5 years later still looks new, I just did a google image search for bass boat with durabak and got several pics of bass boats with durabak and rhino liner........

Pic is not up close and to cold today for more pics! Coating has been on the boat for 4 years with no issue and I am on the water a fair amount. Wash off with pressure washer. I get the deck dirty with hoop nets and trotlines but cannot tell.
That looks good plate, where did you get it at?

I had a 2000 175 Tracker and I had the Armourthane marine coating put on it. There is a dealer located in Columbia, Ky that does a lot of work on the houseboat industry. I really liked it.
